 Google and marketing industry predictably hostile to proposed surveillance advertising ban

The Banning Surveillance Advertising Act (BSAA) was introduced in the House on Tuesday by Representatives Anna Eshow (D-CA), Jan Schakowsky (D-CA) and Senator Cory Booker (DN.J.). The bill will no longer allow advertisers to target ads to consumers based on personal information.
